How to Deal with Insecurities because of Social Media?

Have you ever felt that you're nothing when you read your friends' post on Facebook? Or what is in your mind when your friends' achievements always are exposed on Instagram? And, have you ever thought that your friends' post on social media is always talking about your negative side? If your answer is YES, please, be careful. You may be insecure. You have to overcome it before your insecurities will be anxieties and harm yourself. It's serious problem. There are so many people who commit suicide just because of feeling insecure when interacting on social media.

Then, how to deal with insecurities because of social media? I am trying to share my opinion as written below:

1. Specify your purpose of using social media. It helps you stay focus on your own goal.

2. Realize that social media is just additional media to communicate with others easily. It is used by us to help, not to create stress.

3. Remember that everytime social media is used to read useless thing, you lose your internet's quota.

4. Don't compare your life in real with your friend's life on social media. It's not apple to apple. You really don't know what they are going through.

5. Don't take it personally for every post which is written by your friends. It's not always about you. 

6. Try to always spread love and positive thought and energy.

7. It's okay that sometimes, you feel disturbed or annoyed by social media. If it happens, please, stay away from it for a while. It's good for your mental health.
