My Taiwan Travel Notes

By miyosi ariefiansyah (bunda taka) - May 20, 2024

It's been a while since I wrote here months ago. To be honest, I feel confused about where to start my story because there are too many things I want to tell. LOL.

I'm going to share about my latest travel to Taiwan. It wasn't just a trip but also a visit to my sisters and brother-in-law. I went there twice: first in July last year and second in May this year.

Taiwan might not be as popular as other countries in East Asia like Japan or South Korea. At least, my friends don't know much about the country also known as Formosa.

I know much more about this country because my sister-in-law is married to a Taiwanese (her college mate). They live and work there. Additionally, my other sister-in-law has been studying there since September 2023.

Before, I only knew about Taiwan because of its popular drama series I watched (Mars and Meteor Garden). In my mind, Taiwan is a developed country. And I am not wrong when finally I can prove it.

In the next blog post, I will share about these:

1. Traveling to Taiwan without a Visa

2. How to Apply for an Exemption Visa Online

3. Things that You Should Carry if You Travel to Taiwan

4. Hotel Review: Roader Hotel (A Hotel in Taiwan That Feels Like an Apartment)

5. Visiting Chung Cheng University, the Shooting Location of the Taiwanese Drama Meteor Garden

6. Things You Can Find in Taiwan and Japan

7. Etc
